Bayside United Soccer Club
Bayside United Football Club is a Soccer club based in the Wynnum/Manly area in Lota, Queensland. In 2014, the club will celebrate it’s 40th Anniversary. Over the last few years we have experienced significant growth, with 48 junior teams and multiple senior teams which include the First Team, Reserves, Senior Women and Under 20s, plus our senior social teams in the City League, Over 35s and SEQ divisions. Since this growth, the club now has over 500 plus members and over 440 registered junior players.

Iona College is an independent Catholic boys school, owned and administered by the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate.
It is located in the Brisbane bayside suburb of Wynnum West and caters for over 1500 students from Years 5 to 12 inclusive.
Wynnum Manly Bowls Club
Our club, established in 1954 and now in its 62nd year, is located in the eastern bayside suburb of Manly which is about a half hour drive from Brisbane.
Our Club offers two quality artificial bowling greens, enthusiastic members and has been the host to many tournaments. During 2013, 2014 and 2015, the club sponsored tournaments for the Gateway District Bowls Association Inc. and Bowls Queensland.
Capalaba Junior Rugby League
Under the direction of the first Club President – Dave Nicholson, Capalaba Junior Rugby League was formed in 1985 as a breakaway club of Redlands Junior Rugby League Club.
In the beginning we played at the sports fields in Mooroondu Road, Thornside. There was only one footy field with goal posts and a toilet block which was shared with the neighbouring soccer club.
The Bayside Community Radio Association Inc operates the community radio station, 4BAY, to Redland City and adjacent islands in Moreton Bay, the district of Wynnum-Manly and the eastern suburbs of Brisbane. The station is operated 24 hours per day seven days a week and has been on-air since November 1992.
