I had my company car repaired this week due to a brake & Bluetooth issue. Andrea was my service advisor and Alex was the mechanic. I have nothing but high praise for both employees, Andrea has a very professional manner and notes the problems as well as asking questions that may relate to the issue so that all parties are clear of the actions needed for repair. She does this with a smile and humour that is well appreciated by myself,in fact all the service staff have the same attitude,they make you feel welcome and confident that your problems will be fixed and on time. As the part needed for repair was unavailable she arranged a loan car for me to use so I could continue my work as usual, much appreciated. 5/5 is my score for your service dept, I would appreciate that the content of this email be shared with your service staff as too often the management of a company only receive emails that highlight a customers grievance rather than the good work that occurs on a daily basis.

Just wanting to pass on our compliments with regards to our dealings with Barton's. We have had a few trips to the Wynnum Dealership over the last few months and had my i30 serviced on Wednesday 25th January. I can't speak more highly of your staff, showroom/yard and the general amazing attitude of your people. It's not often you are in a workplace where the overall and overwhelming theme is that the staff genuinely love working there and feel like it's home. That atmosphere permeated us as well in quite a remarkable way. I'm never shy about asking people if they like where they work and the responses from your staff were both honestly lovely and refreshing. Everyone we have dealt with is outstanding and a credit to you and themselves as well.

I was extremely happy with your Hyundai Service Department, your Used Car division led by John and also Jade and the sales team who are helping our son Luke, who is about to buy his new Triton, have all been excellent. Let me just say The general manager, Michael Atkinson at Barton's Capalaba truly goes above and beyond for not only customers but people who ring randomly seeking help. After Ultratune failed to carry out a proper service and repair I called Barton's Subaru for help and advice however it was New Year's Eve and the service team were finished for the day. I spoke to the receptionist who was very nice and polite as I had a little cry and told her the issue I was having. I told her I would call back on the 3rd of Jan to speak to someone from service. About 15mins later I received a phone call from Micheal he informed me that his receptionist told him that I called and was upset about my car (bare in mind I did not purchase my car through Barton's - however I wish I went there instead), I told him the problem and my experience with Ultratune. Michael was very sympathetic and extremely kind offering to have a tow truck pick up my car and take it to their dealership and that they would provide a courtesy car for me to get around in the meantime (tow truck and inspection of car would be at my expense). I politely turned the offer down and said I will attempt to get the car there on the 3rd.

The car was taken to Bartons and I had the opportunity to meet Michael. From my interactions with him I can honestly say he truly does care about people/customers. If only all dealerships had people like him. Also Les from service was fantastic, he kept me updated throughout the 2 weeks they had my car and was very polite every single time we spoke. I cannot speak more highly of both Michael and Les. Also to the guys behind the scene that worked on my car and fixed the immobiliser issue as well as the stuff up that an Ultratune store did. I can not thank you enough. I highly recommend Bartons Subaru Capalaba. I won't be taking my car anywhere else from now on.

    On the 12th of December I drove away in my brand new asx. This is my first brand new car. I was very nervous. Donna was amazing with organising the finance for me. All your staff were very patient with my child, who also helped watch what he was doing, so I could sign documents.

    Massive thank yous must go out, especially to Tim and Paul who were so instrumental in helping me drive away in what is sure to become a true Australian icon – the last ever Australian built Holden ute.     Professionalism and Understanding from Bartons

    My Subaru XV had its 6 months service this week and a feedback request card was left in the vehicle. Firstly, Ryan and service advisor Les did a great job and my car was returned perfectly clean and running well. Secondly, I would like to pass on my thanks to some of your staff for dealing with the changeover of my vehicle back in June this year. My family and I have owned a number of Subaru’s and prior to the XV I owned a 2013 WRX Premium. At 40,000km the WRX suffered two serious engine failures within 6 months, one of which left my wife stranded on the side of the road. My wife and I lost complete faith in the mechanical integrity of the vehicle and although it was still under warranty we wanted to offload the car which was in your workshop awaiting a new engine. To make things even more challenging around that time I was away from Brisbane for extended periods due to work commitments. I met your Service Manager Altaf Jalal and discussed options available for selling the WRX. I must say I was very impressed with Al’s professionalism and understanding. He also provided a loan car for a considerable period which was vital as my wife had no other options to get to work. I was ready to ditch Subaru but primarily due to his negotiation work and the sales staff led by Mark De Loryn and Nick Maras (who had to deal with Leasplan as well) I picked up the XV with a fairly short delivery time and it’s proven to be a great car so far.

    Today is the first time I have had service done at Bartons. For the last 12 years I have had all my servicing done at Keema Cleveland where I have purchased 3 Hyundai cars. However on advice from friends I decided to no longer trek to Cleveland and have my servicing done at Bartons. I found the staff very friendly and I was able to take advantage of the courtesy bus to transport me to my home and be picked up again to collect my car in the afternoon. As for the actual servicing of my vehicle I was rather surprised to be told that my next service will be due in January… I have previously always had servicing done at 6 monthly intervals, is this something new? I was happy to find that my car had been washed and vacuumed before being returned to me, as it was at Keema, but I was disappointed to find that I did not get a Senior discount as I have been getting, do Bartons not offer this? I have no complaints with my treatment at Bartons, the staff are great, friendly and cheerful and that would encourage customers to return as I probably will.

    We are providing feedback for a Hyundai i20 we purchased off you late 2014. We had a great buying experience with Bartons at the time unfortunately our car developed an engine management light problem in late 2015. After taking our car to our "local" Hyundai dealer we were told it had a "bellyfull of bad petrol" unquote. We live on the Gold Coast. This alleged "diagnosis" was not quite believable so we travelled up the M1 to Bartons at least 4 times - while Bartons tried to analyse and rectify the problem and again last week - where we left the car for a few days. We have received great support and attention from staff at Bartons throughout this process. Of particular we would like to mention and provide all with 5/5 - Andrew (Andy) Service Manager ( I believe) - maybe should be higher rated.     Outstanding Long Car Relationships From Bartons

    We've bought a lot of cars from a lot of dealers over the years and none of them have even come close to the these guys! The used car manager (Chris Regan) has been there a long time, so we always know who to talk too when we need another car for our business, or family. We've bought 7 cars so far from Bartons Capalaba Holden (it was still called Oldfield's) and I'll change my Caprice to a new one soon. I'd never go anywhere else, been there done that! From one "Car guy" to another-- Chris, you're a legend!

    Bartons Helping Your Needs

    Just a follow up to the feedback sign left in my vehicle last Tuesday. As far as I can tell everything is fine and the noise is no longer there. I was disappointed that the car didn't get the Wash n' Wax though timing may have been an issue. Lipke Motors asked if the car could be dropped down to them for a small repair for which I was very grateful that you did that. Thank you for replacing the bonnet protector as well.

    A little late in commenting, but we had our new vehicles serviced for the first time in March. Our iLoad on Sat 12th March and Elantra on 17th March. We would have to give 5/5 stars on each occasion. The only area for improvement would have been to make clear prior to the appointment which service area to go to on a Saturday.

    I recently had a car service performed on my new Challenger. I found my customer adviser Corrina helpful and welcoming. The service was completed by Doug M. It was finished on time and the car was delivered in a top condition. I appreciated the car wash voucher.Your new premises are customer friendly and comfortable. I intend to make Bartons my dealer of choice for future sevicing of my car.

    I wish to provide some feedback on the service that was done on my Mitsubishi Outlander today. It was the 105,000km service where I also raised a few issues we are having with our car ie. Squeaky noise when breaking and steering wheel shuddering. It was noted that the front brake pads needed replacing and a wheel balance and alignment. The wheel alignment couldn't be done because two tyres needed replacing which is fair enough however the other recommendations i.e. Brake pads, spark plugs, surge tank were not possible because the technician ran out of time. I also had to phone the service department at 3:30pm as I hadn't heard from them yet in regards to the issues I had with the car and their recommendations. Now I can understand that the workshop would get busy and previously your service department usually had my car ready before the expected time and have been great! However, my main concern was that I've called a service earlier than it was due because I was concerned about the noise and steering wheel shuddering and have picked up the car without it being fixed. Previous services have definitely been a 5 out of 5 but this one would have been a 2 out of 5 as I was left with an unfinished service and now have to arrange another appointment for it to get done; which is an inconvenience. I do appreciate being able to provide feedback and thank you for your time.

    Trying Our Hardest to Help You

    I had my Hyundai Getz which is the run car for our Newsagency. Initially we thought it was an immobiliser issue as we had an issue with it about three years ago, turns out it was a starter motor. After I booked it in James called me to explain the repair required and that a part would need to be sourced from interstate and that Tuesday was a likely time for the repair. I explained to James that I really needed the car for the week end paper deliveries as the vehicle being a two door is specifically used for this task. James got back to me very promptly and confirmed that the vehicle would be finished by Lunch time Friday. True to his word the call came through today that the car was ready to. A big thanks to the Bartons team, you have made our weekend so much easier.

    My apologies for the delay in giving feedback for the service of my Cruze on 28 January 2016. As previously, I would rate the experience as 5 out of 5. Staff at the front desk are pleasant and attentive and the only query I had was addressed. I also appreciated the complimentary car wash as a result of my previous feedback…good idea.
