About the Role – Automotive Trade Assistant
We have an exciting opportunity available at our Capalaba Service Centre for a motivated and hands-on Trade Assistant to join our high-performing and close-knit Service team.
This is a perfect role for someone currently working in aftermarket pre-delivery, independent workshops, or light vehicle mechanical environments who is looking to transition into a dealership setting. You’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of makes and models and work closely with experienced technicians in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
You will assist our qualified technicians with general servicing, pre-delivery inspections, vehicle movements, and workshop duties — all while learning and growing within a dynamic dealership setting.

About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:
- Solid hands-on technical or mechanical experience in an automotive setting
- A current manual driver’s license
- Great communication skills and a willingness to learn
- High attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work unsupervised
- A genuine interest in vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs
- Experience with basic diagnostics or servicing across different makes (advantageous)
