Early last year GM Holden announced that General Motors will be retiring the Holden brand in Australia and New Zealand.
Bartons would like to reassure our customers that we will continue to support our customers with:

- Support with recalls or safety-related issues if they arise.

Our workshops are staffed with factory trained technicians and we continue to work with Holden to ensure training needs are met to look after your vehicle now and into the future.
Service Offers
Offer available on petrol models only at participating Holden Certified Service outlets. Commodore Essentials Service for Diesel and HSV models is $289. Offer ends 31/12/2021. This is not a log-book service. A Vehicle Health Check is a thorough safety and performance check of the fluids, interior, under vehicle, brakes, tyres and exterior of the vehicle - which may reveal mechanical issues. In this case, additional mechanical work is not included and will be quoted separately. Roadside assistance is provided by Assist Australia and is only available on cars up to 10 years old based on the date of first registration. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and where the failure is not a major failure. About Us
Bartons Holden was formally known as Oldfield Holden. In 1991 Brian Oldfield in partnership with Doug Barton opened Oldfield Holden leading the formation of Capalabas business district. Oldfield Holden was named after Brian Oldfield as it would be under his control and his dealership for the following 25 years. In late 2015 Brian Oldfield had watched the main strip of Capalaba develop around his dealership for 25 years, Brian's 25 year commitment to Oldfield Holden has earned him a well deserved retirement at 70 years of age.
In February 2016 Doug Barton made the decision to progress Bartons Group and Oldfield Holden further by welcoming Oldfield Holdens staff and customers to the Bartons Family. In 2017 Doug Barton retired and Mark Beitz remains as shareholder and Managing Director. January 2018 saw the consolidation of Holden Wynnum to on e mega Holden selling site at Bartons Capalaba.
Over the period Oldfield Holden has won Holden Grand Master awards on several occasions. This places the dealership amongst the top 30 dealers in Australia for customer service, training and sales.
